I want to take a moment to introduce (or reintroduce) myself.
I was born and raised right here in Laurel County, and this community has shaped who I am. As a child, many of my days and nights were spent at the Laurel County Fairgrounds working the scoreboard while watching my parents play softball. You could also find me at the London-Laurel Optimist Club, helping wherever I was needed — keeping the book for basketball games, working concessions, refereeing soccer, or assisting with horse shows. From an early age, I learned that serving others is one of the most meaningful things you can do.
That commitment to service has guided my entire life. In 2002, I joined Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County as a Cadet (Junior) member, later working as an EMT beginning in 2006, proudly serving our neighbors in times of crisis. I also began volunteering with the Laurel County Fire Department as a Junior member and have since held many roles, in addition to serving with the London Fire Department and the London-Laurel Rescue Squad.
Since 2017, I’ve been honored to serve as Chairman of the Laurel County Fire Department Board of Directors while continuing to volunteer as a firefighter. During this time, we have built a brand-new fire station, strengthened our financial stability, purchased multiple apparatuses, and secured grants for new firefighting equipment.
Most recently, I assisted during the deadly tornado that struck London on May 16, 2025. It was a heartbreaking day for our community — lives were lost, homes and businesses were destroyed, and the pain was felt across our county. I was out immediately, as were many others, performing rescues and serving our friends and neighbors. It was a powerful reminder of who we are: neighbors helping neighbors, first responders working tirelessly, and a community refusing to be broken. I was proud to stand alongside so many of you during those difficult hours, and I believe we need that same spirit of resilience, accountability, and leadership as we move forward together.
Four years ago, I ran for Magistrate because I believe in strong, accountable leadership that puts people first. I lost that race by a narrow 8% margin. Since then, I didn’t step away — I have stayed fully engaged in our community. I’ve continued to attend Fiscal Court meetings, still serving with the volunteer Fire Department, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the South Laurel Little League, as well as the Locust Grove Cemetery. Many of you have reached out and asked that we finish what we started, and I’m all in.
As your Magistrate, I will:
✅ Ensure your tax dollars are used wisely & efficiently
✅ Support growth while protecting the character of our community & our values
✅ Be accessible, accountable, and responsive to the people that I serve
Out of all my experiences and accomplishments, my most rewarding role is being a father to three children. They are my biggest supporters, and they inspire me to make this county a better place for all kids to grow, learn, play, and eventually work.
Our county is growing at a rapid pace, and we need steady, proven leadership to guide the way. I’m not running for a title — I’m running to represent YOU. With your trust and support, I’ll work hard every day for the families and future of District 5.
I would be honored to earn your vote in the upcoming election, May 2026.
Trusted in Leadership & Proven in Service. Committed to Laurel County.
